Wondering how you can use Papayas? Here is a recipe for a Turmeric Papaya smoothie, which is a great alternative for a light and nutritious breakfast.
Papayas are rich in antioxidants, vitamin, and fiber. They are also very low in calories.
Ingredients:
1/2 medium papaya , peeled, seeded and chopped
1 large banana
1 1/2 cup almond milk
1/4 to 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
1 tbsp lime juice
2 tbsp honey
1 cup ice
Method:
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour and enjoy!
