Pink Lady Apples and Hass Avocados

With some much wonderful produce to choose from this time of the year it was hard to narrow my pick down to just one, so here are my two picks for the month of June;

Pink Lady Apples are my first pick! Being highly sort after and packed with flavour these sweet and crispy apples are in peak season and the ideal snack or lunch box filler for the kids! My second pick is Hass Avocados. Hass Avocados are the most common variety grown in Australia. Being a more robust fruit that can dilate different climates they are able to be grown across most states of Australia. 

A simple tip to keeping a cut avocado ripe is to sprinkle a small amount of lemon or lime juice on top and place in an air-tight container in the fridge.
